Painting A Forest

Blank canvases and acrylic paint… a birthday gift from a friend three years ago. It’s been slow going figuring out what (and how) to paint. Here I used Tim Gagnon for inspiration.

In the past (over a decade ago) I played around with watercolours a little, but mostly stuck to pencil drawings. Acrylics are a whole new kettle of fish. I will persevere.

Ahh I like this. Sadly I’ve never been good at painting or drawing in the past. My memories of art lessons at school are full of PVA glue, tissue paper and lots of mess. Acrylics look like fun though!
